what i've been pinning & screenshotting lately

in today’s post i’m finally making use of the only hidden talents i possess: scrolling on pinterest and saving pics of things i want on my phone. my credentials are that i spend 3+ hours a day on pinterest and have so many screenshots on my phone that i have to delete some every time i dare to try to take a photo. so here’s a collection of what i’ve been pinning, saving and screen-shotting lately, i’m calling it inspo-dumping.

pale pink hair

the sexual tension between me and dying my hair pink hasn’t been this intense since that time in middle school when i dyed it bubblegum pink to match my juicy couture tracksuit and permanently stained my mother’s white clawfoot-tub in the process. this time i’m dreaming of a paler, more washed-out cotton-candy color. think: a mermaid who regrets trading her tail for legs, whose ocean magic is slowly fading on land.

dusty pink + silver

this color combo has been on my mind a lot. in art, in fashion, in interior design.

dsquared2 skate moss, fw 2011+ giuseppe zanotti “slim” sandal, ss 2004

i’ve been obsessed with these extremely cunty dsqaured2 heels for years and of course, religiously following the figure skating at the olympics rekindled my passion for them.

another pair of heels i can’t stop daydreaming about are these gorgeous giuseppe zanotti sandals from 2004. as a pisces girl, i’m convinced they were made for me.

colored tights

colored tights have become my favorite way to add color to my outfits. i love them in light blue, mint green, baby pink. basically any color you’d find in a box of macarons.

margot robbie’s “wuthering heights” press tour looks

personally i prefer method dressing (cunty) over method acting (embarrassing), and of course margot robbie is the queen of it. her “wuthering heights” press tour looks still have me in a chokehold, i’m obsessed with the john galliano and dilara findikoglu fits.

fashion-related books

the books at the top of my wishlist right now. grace coddington, carolyn bessette kennedy and vivienne westwood. three iconic women who inspire me endlessly.

because what girl doesn’t want to look like she just wandered out of a monet painting?

dreaming eli a/w 2026

another collection i’m in love with is the dreaming eli a/w 2016, “the court of the maddest, merriest things alive:” it’s giving debauched courtesan sipping champagne at versailles, it’s giving disgraced former socialite, it’s giving angela carter’s gothic fairytales meets anaïs nin’s erotic short stories. i’m obsessed with the opulence of it. the distressed lace, the shredded silk, the sheer fabrics, the corsets, the shoes (!!!).

jenny holzer

every time i come across a jenny holzer piece it hits me like a fist to the jaw. no matter how many times i see it, her work always feels as tender and fresh as a bruise to me.

90s couples

like everyone else i’ve been watching love story and pinning dozens of pictures of carolyn bessette kennedy and john f. kennedy jr. but i’ve also been drawing a lot of inspiration from photos of 90s couples in general. i love the distinctly 90s mix of grunge and minimalism. like a beat up biker jacket thrown over a sleek silk dress.
